ABC Expo Recap Part 1

There were many exciting new products featured at the ABC Kids Expo this year.  The Expo left us exhausted.  Here are some of the products we have our eyes on:

The Snuza Mobile Baby Monitor:

hero

The Snuza is a movement monitor that clips to baby’s diaper.  If there is no movement within a set period of time, the Snuza monitor will emit an audible alarm.  Depending on the model, the monitor can vibrate after 15 seconds to try and encourage movement before setting off the alarm.  Snuza has an audio only and an audio/video monitors that can be used along with the movement monitor.

The First Years long awaited combination seat, the Unite is to be released in February 2013.

The Shade is a lightweight infant car seat cover.  It goes over the seat and canopy and does not interfere with the harness or the handle of the seat in any way.  It provides protection from the sun with a UPF 50+ Micropoly/Lycra that is machine washable.  It has a mesh window to allow baby to be protected but still visible or that can be closed to allow baby a dark place to snooze.  Stay tuned for a full review of The Shade.
